Basic Computer Pathways

Course overview

Learn how to boot up & shutdown computer, enhance your mouse & keyboard skills, customise your computer, organise and save files, create folders, search the internet more effectively, send/receive and organise emails.

This course teaches the essentials of computer use, including hardware basics, navigating the desktop, managing files, internet browsing, email skills, and creating, saving, and editing documents efficiently.

Eligibility for ACE Funding:

Over the age of 15 years and no longer enrolled in school

Live or work in NSW

Have a USI

Be either an Australian citizen or permanent resident, NZ citizen, meet refugee or humanitarian visa requirements or be an eligible asylum seeker.

Eligibility for Tech Savvy Seniors (TSS):

The Tech Savy Seniors program is for seniors aged 60 years and above, and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander elders aged 50 years and above in NSW who:

• Have little or no experience in using technologies

•Require additional skills and confidence to use and adapt to new technologies.
